Alhambra Mazda in California is a Scam, Never Lease or buy a Car there

October 1st, 2008

On Sept 30, I was trying to lease a Mazda CX-7, the salesperson, Tendy Yen, was telling me they have special deal on 2 of their cars for 3000 down and 210 monthly payment for 2 years lease on 2009 within their Alhambra Mazda only.  I spent nearly 2 hours to negociate an even better deal and even signed a credit report for them to check my credit.  The salesperson ended never intended to sell the car at the price mentioned above, all the Alhambra Mazda wanted was to get you to sit down and offered you a more expensive term.  Their owner or manager, Eric, is also involved in this scam.  This car dealer, Alhambra Mazda, is a total scam.  Don’t ever visit this Alhambra Mazda store.  This is one of the most dishonest dealer I have even visited.

Should we start putting money in GIC or Mutual Fund as US Ressession Starts

December 28th, 2007

I had a lunch break with my good friend, Annon.  We were talking about investing in Canadian Mutual fund.  He mentioned to me that he had withdrawing all his money out from Mutual fund since many analysts have speculate that US Economy may have gone into ressession.  I am considering putting money in GIC for while until this potential crisis is gone.  I fund GIC rate comparsion site at http://www.globeinvestor.com/servlet/Page/document/v5/data/rates?pageType=gic_short&tax_indicator=R

This ICICI Bank gives 4.25% return with minimum balance of 1000 which I would recommend.

Hsinchu Restuarant

Hsinchu Resturant

It is another wonderful day in Taipei.  My cousin, Jia-ling, came up to Taipei and drove my sister and I from Taipei to Hsinchu to spend a night.  This is a new restaurant. A park is right across the restaurant and land next to the restaurant was supposed to be a lake, but the lake is now dried up over time.  I had the chance to speak to the owner of the restaurant, he mentioned that the restaurant will be cleaned up in couple years by local government.  This is a wonderful place to be at.  It is such a relaxing location.

itravel2000.com sucks / complaint on itravel2000.com

October 19th, 2007

I was traveling to Newfoundland about 1 and half year ago and bought a ticket through itravel2000.com. On the way coming back from Newfoundland to Vancouver. itravel2000.com mistakenly provided incorrect itinerary and provided time of departure one hour behind the flight actual schedule. itravel2000.com did not apologize and did not compensate at all. I had to spend about 800 Canadian dollars flying back from Newfoundland. I have spoken to the original issuer of agent at itravel2000.com, but she was saying it was my own fault not checking with Jetsgo about the time flight leaves the New Foundland airport. And it is not their responsibility at all. Even I had written to Better Business Bureau to file to complain, they simply rejected my case and was in favor of itravel2000.com. I don’t suggest anyone buy tickets from itravel2000.com at all.
